Since I was young, I knew that I would be doing something creative when I grew up. My interests, school work, and clients in the time since I “started” growing up have included NASCAR teams, leading design on magazine publications, dabbling in teen fashion design, and working with intermediate level sports teams to name a few. My style reflects inspiration from people like Vignelli, Judd, Warhol, and Rand, and I strive to push my knowledge forward while helping clients get the most out of what I create.

Goals

My personal goals for the next five years include moving up the “ladder” in the design world. I love being able to organize projects and coordinate others to reach icky deadlines. My favorite mediums to this point have been a strong focus in automotive art, and print design is an extremely close second. When I’m not busy being a designer though, I enjoy working on my new project, NoviceRunners.com and training for anything from 5k’s to marathons.

About the Site

DanNisbet.com was re-launched in the fall of 2009, expanding from a portfolio website to include a blog. The blog will be my place to share thoughts and opinions of the happenings in  the design industry, as well as expand my knowledge on a variety of subjects, including my current loves in design- branding/identity and typography.
